Angie Nava's daughter, Angela, is 15 months old.
"The most special thing about my child is that, no matter what mood I'm in, she can always put a smile on my face, and that keeps me motivated to get to school everyday," Angie says.
Being a teen mother has shown Angie how important it is to get her education, and that she needs to be organized in everything she does.
"I am really grateful that Florence Crittenton is here, because without it I would have just become another high school dropout," she says.
The Early Learning Center has helped Angie develop into a better mother. "Having the Early Learning Center here on-site has allowed me to be here every day, and has let me focus on my school work because I know she is safe," Angie explains.
Angie isn't sure about her plans for the future but will keep us posted.
Her advice: "If you become a teen mother, it doesn't mean you have to give up on your dreams. Life isn't over when you have a baby - it's just the beginning."
