Beatriz Zamora

Beatriz Zamora has a son, Bryan, 3, who gives her the strength to keep on going.

"If it wasn't for him, I wouldn't be where I am today," she says.

The Florence Crittenton School has helped Beatriz as a student and a teen mother. "It has helped me to graduate," she says. "It is easier for me to accomplish it because of the help of the Early Learning Center, because I could bring my son to a safer place that is more close to me."

"I would like to thank Florence Crittenton and Parent Pathways for all the help they gave me, and all the help they give to the other girls," she says.

Beatriz plans to attend college to become a nurse, and to keep working hard to raise her son the best she can.

Being a teen mother has changed Beatriz's life. She has become strong and knows she needs to make healthy decisions for her and her child. "The goals that I set in my life have to include a little person that I'm responsible for.

"There is always a way to accomplish everything in life."
