Brenda Miranda's daughter, Briss, is 20 months old, and Brenda simply adores her. "Brissa is perfect and is very smart, and listens to me," she says.

Being a teen mother has affected Brenda in both good and bad ways. on one hand, she has learned to care more about things and to think of the future more for herself and her daughter. On the other hand, nothing about her life is the same as it was before.

"But it's not that hard," she says.

The Florence Crittenton School has helped Brenda very much because they care about her. "They know how much help teen mothers need," she explains.

Brenda has many plans for her future. She will keep us posted on where she plans to go.

Her advice: "Never give up! There are people that actually do care."
