Gina Larquier's son, Eduardo "Eddie" is 3 years old, and he reminds her of her dad.

Being a teen mother has helped Gina learn to be patient, to face her own problems and be more independent. "I actually see myself being somebody in the future," she says.

These past three years Florence Crittenton have helped her a lot, both as a student and as a teen mother.

Gina used the Early Learning Center for two years. "I saw my son learning and growing as each year passed, and I knew he was in a good place, especially since the day care was located in the school."

As a student, Gina had a lot of academic help from the teachers, and the administration helping her deal with life's obstacles.

Gina's plans to go to school for hairstyling and one day hopes to open a hair salon.

Her advice: "There are solutions for everything in life. Giving up is not an option! Even though all the drama in my life, my son and I will make it!"
