Karla Renee Kamerzell is the mother of Alias Andrew Leal, 17 months.
He is very special to her "because he is living proof of my husband's and my love for each other."
The Florence Crittenton School is very important to Karla because it helped her so much./p>
"If it was not for the school and the Early Childhood Learning Center, I would had never have made it to this point in my life," she says.
Being a teen mother affected her in many ways - "The biggest way was having the responsibility of a child at 16 years old."
She plans to go to college and be a legal assistant. She wants her family to grow bigger and healthier.
Her advice: "Never give up! This is too much out there for you to give up and miss out on being successful."
