Sheretha Slay

Sheretha Slay is the mother of two sons, Jai'vion Winslow, one year old, and Sai'vion Winslow, 5 months old.

"Everything about my kids is special, from they way they look, act, play and smile," she says.

She says she is "very proud" to be a teen mother but it has taken away her ability to enjoy herself with friends like she used to.

But attending the Florence Crittenton School has been a big help. "Florence Crittenton has helped me boost my credits so I can get to where I am now," she says. Sheretha also feels the environment was a place where she could focus and get her work done.

Sheretha feels the love and trust that she shares with her children is very special. Her babies are the most important thing to her and that she enjoys seeing them grow.

Sheretha plans to become a social worker, so "going back to school is a must."

Her advice: "Never give up. Always put your kids first, no matter what."
