Yolanda Venegas

Yolanda Venegas has a son, Anthony, 19 months old.

She is captivated by him, "his laugh, the way he talks and even when he repeats everything I say."

Being a teen mother has made Yolanda grow up to become a responsible adult. "I do miss going out, but you can't do that all the time when you have a child," she explains.

The Florence Crittenton School has helped Yolanda assess her goals and complete school this year, rather than take another year.

Yolanda would like to become an attorney.

Her advice: "Even if you have a child, don't give up. That makes you strong! Enjoy the rest of your life, especially the time you have with your child."
