20 teen mothers graduated from the Florence Crittenton School on Thursday, May 26 at Central Presbyterian Church. It was a triumphant day as these teen moms celebrated the achievement of completing high school, and headed out into their new lives.

Several members of the Class of 2011 were recognized for their hard work and dedication:

  • Aracely Aldrete  was awarded a FAFSA On The Web Scholarship in the amount of $5,500.
  • Joanna Castro was awarded a CESDA Diversity Scholarship in the amount of $1,000.
  • Brenda Chavira was awarded a FAFSA On The Web Scholarship in the amount of $5,500. 
  • Ataya Coleman was awarded a FAFSA On The Web Scholarship in the amount of $3,000.
  • Annette Fajardo was awarded a FAFSA On The Web Scholarship in the amount of $5,500.
  • Mariela Garcia was awarded a Comcast Leadership & Achievers Scholarship in the amount of $1,000.
  • Esperanza Rodriguez was awarded a FAFSA On The Web Scholarship in the amount of $5,500.
