meet leiannaLeianna Rojas, who is working to finish high school so that she will be able to support her 17-month-old son Fernando, says the Early Learning Center at the Florence Crittenton School has been a lifeline.
With her father laid off and her mother battling cancer, Leianna must look after four younger siblings in addition to the child she had when she was a sophomore “Now I’m pushing myself every day to come to school,” she says. “I’ve learned so much in the ELC. I’ve learned a baby needs love, and playing, and so much more than just getting his diaper changed or given a bottle.” Leianna is creating a cycle of success!
