creating cycles of success
meet maegan
But in a sense, Maegan was lucky. Pregnancy forced her to change to the Florence Crittenton School, where she became enfolded in an accepting, positive environment. She learned how to care for her baby and how to balance school and motherhood. Maeghan went on to attend college and earn her degrree as a registered nurse. In the process, she returned to the place that had made it possible for her to succeed -- the Florence Crittenton School.

Maegan Singleton was on the road to nowhere -- getting bad grades, hanging out with the wrong people and making a lot of self-destructive choices -- when she found herself pregnant at 16. “You think it’s never going to happen to you,” she says.
Today Maegan is the school’s nurse, and she can’t imagine working anywhere else. “I plan to stay here as long as I can.”
