Angelica Cadena’s children make her happy everyday.
“Everything about them is special to me. Seeing them happy makes me have a good day all daylong.”
Being a teen mother has made Angelica prioritize her life. Angelica said, “I have two little angels to look-out for. They come first before anyone and anything.”
The Florence Crittenton School and the Early Learning Center have helped Angelica look-out for her angels. “I would have probably dropped out of school if I didn’t have this opportunity.” The support Angelica received at the School and the education her son has received in the Learning Center are invaluable. “The staff is very caring and is always willing to help.”
She has plans to secure a good job and take care of her family. “I want to be a good mom and give them everything I can.”
Angelica is very thankful for all the help she has received. She mentioned, “The staff at Florence Crittenton are very good people who are important to us.” She accredits the teachers for their work in helping her to pass her classes, having fun and being happy.
She also wanted to tell others, “It’s important to stay in school, become someone important in life and show others you are better than what they might think about you.”
