meet ashley

Ashley Tafoya has a little girl named Laila who is almost a year old.

She said, “I love that my daughter is so intelligent.  I also love that so many of her characteristics are so similar to my own.  She is truly a life saver and I believe she was sent to me from the heavens.”

Becoming a teen mother has improved Ashley.  She said, “It has greatly improved me, my attitude and my maturity. Becoming a mother has given me the motivation I was lacking in life.”

She also said, “You have to find it in yourself to succeed because nobody will do it for you. Without desires in your heart you will stay stuck in time.”

The Florence Crittenton School and the Early Learning Center have offered Ashley support in many ways. She said, “I believe a school is what you make of it. I definitely think that the students are what make this school successful, everyone is very supportive in different ways.”

She continued, “The Early Learning Center has helped my daughter learn how to interact with other children.”

Ashley has great plans for her future. She said, “I keep these thoughts to myself, because I have a hard time keeping up with my own thoughts, but I do know that I want my family to be happy no matter what situation life throws at us.”
