Bonnie Smith’s two-year-old daughter is named Miracle because she is a miracle to Bonnie.
She said, “I have become a good person and a good mother. My daughter loves me so much and I love her too.”
Becoming a teen mother has helped Bonnie become a stronger person. She said, “I have a lot of responsibility now that I have Miracle. She has made me become a stronger person in life, for myself and for her. I know what I have to do and I am working harder to do it everyday.”
She added, “You can’t ever give up. Don’t let anyone keep you down. Always have a positive attitude about yourself.”
The Florence Crittenton School and the Early Learning Center have helped Bonnie in many ways. She said, “The School has helped to become the best person and mother I can be. They took the time to teach me to read and helped me graduate.”
She continued, “My daughter loves going to the Early Learning Center. When she gets up in the morning she is so excited to get to her class and be with the other kids and her teachers. Everyday she tells me about all the things she learned and did that day.”
Bonnie has plans to get good job. She said, “I want be financially secure so that I can do more for my family.”
