Corrina Garcia has a three-year-old daughter named Savannah, who brings her happiness everyday.
“Savannah is very special to me because she belongs to me. Seeing her everyday when I wake up puts a smile on my face.”
Being a teen mother has made Corrina realize she can’t do what she wants to do all the time. “I have a kid to think about before I think about myself.”
She also has two pieces of advice for other teenagers, “Wait to have kids, and, live one day at a time.”
She said, “I am going to miss going to school.” The Florence Crittenton School has helped Corrina to stay in school and graduate. It has also taught her a lot about how to be a good mother and take care of her daughter.
“I am very thankful for the help I have received.”
