Marissa Villescas-Garcia’s seven-month-old daughter Yarely is very special to her. 

She said, “Everything about her is special to me.  Just the fact that she is my baby is special to me.”

Having a baby at this age has made Marissa realize she is too young to have a child, but she is grateful to be the mother to her little girl.  She said, “My baby is the most precious thing that has happened to me.”

The Florence Crittenton School has helped Vanessa to graduate. She said, “The School has helped me a lot.  It has helped me to get my diploma this year, without the School I wouldn’t be graduating.” 

Marissa plans to find a good job.  She said, “I plan to finish school, get a good job and raise my daughter.  I want my family to be proud of me for graduating, even if I had a baby.”
