Parent Pathways is a Denver-based not-for-profit agency that helps teen parents raise healthy families. Through our comprehensive services we address their needs in areas such as education, employment, and parenting support.   These teen families are working hard to become self-sufficient - juggling parenting, school and employment - but often have only enough to provide for the bare essentials.  Extravagant meals and the newest toys for their children are a luxury they simply cannot enjoy.  With your help, we can provide these families with all the ingredients for a bountiful holiday.

Sponsor-A-Family is an ideal project for a group of employees, associates or friends, or an individual, community-minded family.  Parent Pathways provides detailed information on the needs of a deserving family. Families may be as small as a single “Mom” and one child or as large as a two-parent household with six children.  “Sponsors” purchase two or three gifts for each person in the family, including adults, as well as a *food basket.  Past sponsors report spending an average of $150 for a two-person family, $300 for a family of four and so forth.  Parent Pathways can arrange for the sponsors to deliver the gifts to “their family”, which has proven to be a wonderful opportunity to see the family’s joy and excitement firsthand!  Or our staff can ensure that your gifts reach the family. 

You can participate at any level:
Sponsor a family and provide them with gifts and a meal.
Provide a food basket for a young family.
Don’t have time to do all the shopping?  We also accept cash donations or gift certificates.

*We suggest that food baskets include a $25 gift certificate to a local supermarket and approximately $50 worth of non-perishable foods. Below are suggestions for items to go into the food basket:
