committee volunteer opportunities
Board and committee opportunities support the work of the Parent Pathways board of directors and staff, while offering volunteers meaningful ways to help the organization. Four standing committees, composed of board members, staff and community volunteers, each meet between six and twelve times per year.
business committee
Identifies and evaluates activities and opportunities impacting the business and financial operations of Parent Pathways, and determines actions that will help further the agency’s ability to achieve its vision and mission. This committee oversees and reviews the annual audit, investment fund management, and budget and financial status for annual and special campaigns.
development committee
Develops strategic and annual business plans to achieve organizational goals for development and communications, and monitors progress toward accomplishing these goals. Members help strategize the use of volunteer talents and resources for fundraising and communications. They may also solicit contributions from board members and other volunteers, as well as recruit them for specific development and communications ad hoc committees, task forces and events.
board nomination and governance committee
Determines the profile of Board members needed and spearheads the recruitment and orientation process. Identifies and addresses governance issues for the agency and its board of directors.
