colorado child care contribution credit
maximize your charitable giving with 50% state tax credit
When you designate your generous donations to our Early Learning Center at the Florence Crittenton School, you are eligible to receive a 50% tax credit through the State of Colorado Child Care Contribution Tax Credit program. Your gift will help the babies of teen mothers get a healthy start in life and will maximize the impact of your charitable giving.
Donors that make a monetary contribution to promote child care in Colorado may claim an income tax credit of 50% of the total contribution. Combined with other state and federal itemized tax deductions, the actual net cost of a donation is approximately one third (1/3) of your gift. Stock and real estate gifts are not eligible for this credit. (Colorado Department of Revenue Taxpayer Service Division. FYI Income 35 Child Care Contribution Credit, revised September 2004.)
